'Ultra Glam' Look

[The video begins with a shot of Caroline and the model. The model is wearing smart evening wear and Caroline will show how to get an evening ‘Ultra Glam’ look]

Hi! I’m Caroline Barnes, Max Factor’s Make-up Artist. Now I will show you a really sexy evening make-up. I want to show you how to create that look without it being overdone.

Okay, so I am going to use the Miracle Touch Creamy Foundation and blend well on to the skin. As you can see it gives great coverage and ha a little bit of luminosity to it so that it does not look too caked or heavy.

So now I am going to work through with ‘Eyebrow Pencil’ with a handy little brush just on the lid. Now our main focus for the smoky eye we are going to use ‘Burnt Bark’ Eyeshadow from the ‘Earth Spirits Eyeshadow’ range. Take the colour along the lash line and put it all the way along the lid. Use the brush to really sweep a nice shade.

We have a smouldry finished look and we are going to apply just a little soft ‘Kohl’ in the inner rim of her eye.

Now we are going to apply the Lash Extension Effect Mascara and again we are going to start just by doing the bottom lashes first using the tapered wand. You can see how the wand really captures the really fine hair in the corners giving dramatic length. This makes your eyes look so much bigger because you are creating this lovely fan-like effect. So again we are going to take the wand into the centre of the lashes and do a couple of coats obviously because this is our evening look and we want to make the lashes look striking. We work the tapered wand just into the outer corner of the eyes and pull the lashes out and then in the inner corner pull them towards the nose. Make sure you put the mascara on before it dries to avoid clumps. If you are a bit slow and it dries you can use a bit of your metal comb to really separate and lengthen the lashes. So really nice and stunning excellent Smoky Eyes.

To finish the look we are going to add in a little bit of the Colour Collections ‘Instantly Red’ Lipstick. I’m going to apply it with a brush and pat it with finger to create a strong look. To finish this look I’m going to use the ‘Top Coat’ from the Max Factor’s Lipfinity range to get a really nice sheen.

We see a really sexy look which doesn’t look over done and looks very modern with long pretty lashes.
